The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden is a huge 250 hectares and has about 12km of walking tracks. It is located 1.4 km from the start of the Stuart Highway heading towards the Northern Territory and is a great way to see an array of arid native plants, as well as native birds. You can even take home some tips about what will grow in your garden, or enjoy a snack at the Bluebush Café.
